We made it to Kiev!

WE ARE HERE!!

And all of our luggages made it too. We are dead tired but we are trying to stay up to at least 8 before falling into bed.



Flights went well, met at the airport with a man holding a sign for EDWARDS, quickly moved us through Customs as we got our bags. Then Sasha our facilitator met us at the concourse and escourted us into a car with all of our 5 bags plus carryons.

Our flat is right down from St. Michael's cathedral and Independance Square. I have included the pictures looking both ways from our small rickety balcony.

We ate at a Ukraine place - OBrian's Irish pub - well it was in Ukraine! It was within walking distance and they spoke English.

More tomorrow about a new friend we made on the plane..... Must come back to read it!!
